Most of the speakers today gave Educational Talks, rather than the usual speech projects. DTM Raul delivered a Keynote Speech that is creditable to his Pathways Project Level 5. Shown below is Raul delivering the Keynote Address speech with me (seated far left) evaluating him.
Other speakers who gave talks were: Past Div Director Jeff Ganaba, Incoming Div Director Dolly de los Reyes, Immediate Past President Leah Catapia, Outgoing VPE Krissy R. and Incoming President Ching Bognot.
Write A Compelling Blog - Elective
Although it was not a regular Toastmasters Meeting, I was able to seek permission and deliver an Innovative Planning Level 4 speech, Write A Compelling Blog. Entitled "Speech Blogging", this speech is only 2 to 3 minutes long. As practiced, I was able to deliver it in 3 minutes - much to my satisfaction.
The speech project, Write A Compelling Blog, is actually an elective and is one of the seven allowable electives for Innovative Planning Level 4 in Pathways. The primary reason I chose it as an elective is because I already have this blog. To complete the project, I had to post a minimum of 8 entries for a month. I was able to post 9 entries for the month of June.
Another requirement for this speech project is for me to ask club members to evaluate the blog and complete a Blog Evaluation Form. So I sent them the link to the June entries here: https://www.speeches.blackdovenest.com/2018/06/. Outgoing VP-Education Krissy R. evaluated me for my speech.
