With the Covid Pandemic upon us, most Toastmasters clubs have moved towards online meetings. We, at the BF Community Toastmasters Club, had our first online meeting last Mar.21, 2020 using the Zoom platform. It has been our mode of meeting from then on.

How to Conduct Productive Meetings

Learn the techniques and dynamics for conducting productive meetings in any group. This presentation is from the Success/Leadership programs. The Success/Leadership programs may be applied in a Toastmasters club to enhance members' skills; in companies to increase employees' skills and promote awareness of Toastmasters; and in the community to enhance the general public's skills and to promote awareness of Toastmasters.

The following educational talk on "How to Conduct Productive Meetings" was presented to the BF Community Toastmasters Club in the November 18, 2017 Toastmasters Meeting at MMCP, Las Piñas City.

During the regular club meeting, I received the Competent Leader Pin from Club President Dr. Neil Caranto at Alabang Community TMC in Northgate, Alabang. Here's a short video of the awarding. Aug 20, 2009 Toastmasters Meeting - Educational Talk

Today I gave an educational talk on The Toastmasters Educational Program from the Successful Club Series. The talk, entitled, "Education Goals of Members", is a presentation of the two tracks: Communication and Leadership tracks. Specifically, I discussed how members can benefit and receive credits for participating in the various roles of a meeting.

The Toastmasters Educational Program

(This talk was delivered at the Aug.20, 2009 Toastmasters Meeting of the ACT Club.)

There are two tracks in the traditional program, the communication track and the leadership track. The core of the communication track is the Competent Communicator manual. It contains 10 speech projects to help you gain the basic skills needed to present an effective speech.

(After being introduced by emcee) Thank you, (emcee). Happy Anniversary to all of us here celebrating 5 years of Alabang Community Toastmasters Club's fruitful existence.

Wow, it feels so good to talk into a microphone once again after getting used to speaking loudly without a microphone. You all know how difficult it can be sometimes when over there at Henlin, our home base, we'd have to speak a bit louder especially with a big audience.

It also feels good just to speak in a venue away from our home base, once in a while.

INTRODUCTION

Good Evening! Who among you here have visited my personal blog? Those who have visited my blog would probably know by now that the blog is essentially a swimming journal.

Area Level Quartethlon Contest 2006-2007

Competed in the Area Level contest (Areas 75, 76, 77 & 78). A Quartethlon is a local Toastmasters contest of 4 events: Prepared Speech, Evaluation, Impromptu Speaking and Singing. Contestants do all 4 events. This was held at the Mini-Theater of the Lopez Bldg, Meralco, Ortigas.
