Ice Breaker Speech - "Restarts"
Jan.20, 2018 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, MMCP, Las Piñas.
This speech tells the story how I resumed (or restarted) Toastmasters after being inactive for five years. This Ice Breaker speech signals another restart in my Toastmasters journey, this time, in Pathways.

Evaluation and Feedback - First Speech - "IF"
Feb.3, 2018 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, MMCP, Las Piñas.
The speech is entitled "IF" or short for Intermittent Fasting. It will be my first speech on an eating pattern that allowed me to lose 28 pounds over 4 months. A member noticed my weight loss last week and so I wrote the speech.

Evaluation and Feedback - Second Speech - "IF - Intermittent Fasting"
Feb.3, 2018 Club-Hopping, MSATC, Social Space Co-working, CTP Alpha Tower, Alabang.
This is the second version of the speech "IF" after incorporating changes from feedback. After the speech, there was interest on Intermittent Fasting and I was busy replying to inquiries during the break.

Researching and Presenting Speech - "Intermittent Fasting Made Easy"
Feb.17, 2018 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, MMCP, Las Piñas.
This speech is similar to the "Research Your Topic" speech project of the Competent Communication Manual of the Old Program. This speech is a sequel to my recent one.

Understanding Your Leadership Style Speech - "Transact or Transform?"
Mar.17, 2018 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, MMCP, Las Piñas.
The title compares the Transactional and Transformational modes of leadership. My recent High Performance Leadership Project allowed me to illustrate certain aspects of leadership styles with personal experiences.

Connect With Your Audience Speech - "Progressive Pull-Ups"
Apr.7, 2018 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, MMCP, Las Piñas.
The project calls for a topic that is unfamiliar to the audience. My other choices for topics were gardening-related. The strategy to connect with the audience by calling volunteers for an exercise demo was perfect.

Introduction to Toastmasters Mentoring Speech - "When the Student is Ready..."
Apr.21, 2018 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, Gather Workspace, Las Piñas.
My speech is interesting in that my being a Toastmasters protege came just about the time my first club was about to die. A few of the members in the audience liked my speech and one found it inspiring.

Connect With Storytelling Speech (Elective Project) - "The Lucky Juan"
May 5, 2018 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, Gather Workspace, Las Piñas.
This is a reprise from an older advanced speech project, Bringing History to Life from the Storytelling Manual. Objects at the venue and a lady in the audience became on-the-spot visual aids and enhanced the speech delivery.

Creating Effective Visual Aids Speech (Elective Project) - "Who's the Lucky Juan?"
May 10, 2018 Demo Meeting, Continental GBS, Net Lima Bldg, BGC
With the success of my previous speech on Connect with Storytelling, I repeated that here. For props, I used a dinner plate and napkin. I placed the table in the center of the room because many in the audience were at the back.

Present A Proposal Speech - "Keep It Simple, Sweetheart!"
Jun 2, 2018 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, Gather Workspace, Las Piñas
Many in the audience were able to relate especially those who had to endure extra long speeches. The speech is timely because we're paying a premium for the limited time we have for club meetings at the new venue.

Write A Compelling Blog - "Speech Blogging"
Jul 7, 2018 Strategic Planning, BF Community TMC, Firenze Subd., Cavite
I already maintain this speech blog, so I might as well write and speak about my experiences with it. The project did require me to write at least 8 posts for a month. I was able to write 9 last month.

Manage Projects Successfully - 1st Speech - "A Successful Club Contest by January 5"
Jan 19, 2019 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, Cassalu Restaurant, Las Piñas City
The managed project mentioned in the speech was the chairing of the club-level speech contest for the four speech categories: Evaluation, Humorous, Table Topics and International Prepared.

Manage Projects Successfully - 2nd Speech - "By the Book"
Feb 16, 2019 Regular Meeting, BF Community TMC, Cassalu Restaurant, Las Piñas City
The club-level speech contest was a success, even exceeding my expectations. My three indices for success were all met. These were: start and end on time, fairness to all contestants, and fun and enjoyment for all.

(Watch out for future speeches at this level.)
